This is a vase in the shape of a gourd, my original design. The gourd itself is a relatively traditional form in China, symbolizing good fortune and prosperity. However, I have fully painted the lower part of the gourd with green hydrangeas using the mid-glaze painting technique. The fired gourd exudes a matte and retro effect. At the same time, the painting technique combines modern image processing methods, making it a unique home decoration art piece. It is also a one-of-a-kind green gourd.
